How did it start?
I came into UX through a mix of design, psychology and problem-solving.
I studied Graphic Communications at university, where I started to realise I was less interested in just how things looked, and more interested in how people understood, used and experienced them. That blend of visual thinking and human behaviour is what led me to User Experience Design, and it is still the part of the work I enjoy most today.
I’ve been doing this for six years now, and I love it!
What do I enjoy most about the process?
I love collaborating with others to explore ideas, challenge assumptions and shape better outcomes together. Whether I am running discovery, prototyping concepts or refining UI, I enjoy being involved from the early thinking through to the final detail.
What do I get up to outside of work?
Outside of work, I’m usually making jewellery, taking photos, or attempting to make the perfect pizza at home. I clearly have a thing for hobbies that involve patience, precision and tweaking things repeatedly until they feel just right. So, not wildly different from design, really… just with more flour. 🍕
